Prepare a thick cardboard piece larger than the completed puzzle piece beforehand. Place it underneath the puzzle before assembling to facilitate movement and storage during assembly, and to prevent pieces from scattering or getting lost.
First, identify the number of pieces with one and two straight sides. Assemble the four sides of the puzzle, then gradually work towards the center. This will reduce assembly time.
When assembling, if pieces cannot fit tightly together, or if there are color differences (especially when working with puzzles of the same color family), do not force them together. Take the time to find the correct number of pieces.
